Buchanan County Head Start is governed by the Buchanan County Board of Supervisors. The county administrator serves as the executive director of Head Start and the liaison between HS and the BOS. Head Start has a parent advisory board consisting of a parent representative from each of the nine center locations, an alternate representative from each center, and a parent and alternate who represent one Home Base.
